Solar PV payback – the time is NOW!

So, the UK Chancellor has just announced that energy prices will increase significantly for all but the vulnerable  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-63298057 

According to this article, “predictions from Cornwall Insight suggest that, for households that do not receive any support, a typical annual energy bill could be £4,347 in the spring, dropping to £3,722 next winter”.

To state the absolute obvious, that is an eye watering amount for most people in this country.

OK it’s true that we are a solar PV installation company so we are always going to bang the drum for solar, but honestly, we think there is never a better time to consider investing in it.

And the reason is this. When energy prices are this high, the payback period reduces significantly. Why invest in just the energy you consume (at exorbitant prices) when you can invest in the system to generate it for you?

By investing in a solar PV system and battery, you are effectively fixing a good chunk of your electricity costs up front for 25+ years.
